| Dive Description | |
| An abundance of marine life greet the isolationist diver who
prefers the relatively unvisited sites of the Keys. Coral ledges and
valleys, composed of stands of elkhorn
corals and brain
corals, carve their way through the region, giving rise to the name
"Gully". Porkfish,
blue
tangs, chubs,
mutton
snapper, grunts,
and parrotfish
are permanent members of this reef. Grouper,
tarpon,
snook,
and an occasional nurse
shark are also commonly seen. | |
